How it works

From your team's problem to training you can prove, in six stages. We handle the planning and the evidence; you stay in control of the grant.

The six OpDLab stages

1. Know

Training needs analysis: the problem, the roles and the numbers to move.

2. Plan

An annual training plan and calendar.

3. Fund

A view of your levy balance and key dates.

4. Deliver

Materials, logistics and QR attendance.

5. Prove

Evaluation and a management report.

6. Grow

Manager follow-up and the next cycle.

How in-house training is claimed from the HRD Corp levy

  1. The employer applies for the grant on its own e-TRiS account, at least one day before training.
  2. Each session is at least 4 hours, with at most 7 claimable hours a day. In-house soft-skills groups are 2 to 50 trainees.
  3. Trainees must attend at least 75% of the training hours.
  4. After training, the training provider claims the course fee and the employer claims allowances within 6 months. Under HCC the employer makes no advance payment.

Team building is also accepted when it is run as structured training.

HRD Corp may revise these rules. We confirm the current rules with you on the consultant call.
